Sunday Service Message: Pastor Elizabeth Ojuolape
Title: Job Vacancy 2
Text: John 4 vs 19 - 26
Message: There became a vacancy in heaven, when Lucifer - the devil lost his position. Man was created to fill that position to praise the most high. The Samaritan woman in the text told Jesus they are not from the same place, and is not normal for them to interact.

We live in a fast paced world, and when Jesus wants to step in, we have excuses. In these times when we can’t go to work, God has put a pause on our lives so he can get our attention. The Samaritan woman did not even recognize that the man she is talking to is Jesus. We are so busy at times, we don’t hear God when he wants to talk to us. Jesus knows every detail about us, just as he she knew about the Samaritan woman’s life. He knows how she has married several times, and how people are talking about her.

No matter what you are going through, God knows every detail. Jesus said The father is seeking people to worship him in spirit, and in truth. Jesus told the Samaritan woman that worship is not limited to a place. It can be done on your own, without a choir as you would in church. Acts 17 vs 22 - 29. God is not limited to our devices, or what we have around us. Have you paused to check your worship of God? God has disrupted our plans, our busy lives. What is God expecting from you in all that is happening? God is seeking those that will worship him in spirit and in truth. Jehoshaphat and the people of God were faced with a battle. They didn’t know what to do and were filled with fear, but God told them to start worshipping him. It is not easy to worship God when things don’t look right. We hear the facts on the news, and it inflicts us with more fear and anxiety.

We need to put that aside, and focus on the worship of our great God. The woman that has so little was requested to give her last to the man of God. We would think that God would send his prophet to someone that has plenty. John 12 vs 32. If we would lift God in worship and praise, God will draw all men to himself. Ecclesiastes 12 vs 13 - 14. Worship him. Psalm 113 vs 1 to the end. All the blessings we receive comes from the most high. Worship him. Not to be religious, but to have a relationship with him.

Pastor Emmanuel Ojuolape
It shall be well Part 2
Psalm 127 vs 2.
When we are troubled as children of God, we should run to our father. Rather than panic, we would recollect what God has said concerning our lives. Psalm 23 vs 4. Psalm 91 vs 1 - 4. God will not leave nor abandon you. Take it all to the lord in prayer. God cannot lie. Genesis 21 shows how they didn’t believe the word of God that he will bless Sarah with a Child. And It came to pass.

Our God doesn’t change with season or time. Psalm 90 vs 1 - 2. Hebrews 13 vs 8. God has vast amount of experience so when he says that what you are going through would not drown you. Malachi 3 vs 6. He is the lord and will not change. Our God is everlasting and unchangeable. We would look back and rejoice and witness his word coming to pass. God spoke that there should be light and light obeyed. Bank on the word of God and all will be well. Deuteronomy 32 vs 39 - 40. God is the almighty, he is not weary, 1st king 18 let’s us know God is not asleep nor slumber. The lord that keeps us is aware of all that we go through. Isaiah 40 vs 28. His word to us this year is that he will answer our prayers. We have no power of our own so we have to run to him. Except the lord keep city, the watchman does it in vain. Except the lord watch over us, all our precautions will not matter. We should take precautions but we have to put it the Lords hand. We have to maintain an hygienic environment. No place is safe but under the shadow of God. The enemy we cannot see, is causing trouble for the world right now . There may be all kinds of unrest all around us.

But we can have peace in Christ. May almighty God step into our situations today and grant us peace. Hide yourself under the shadow of God. Do not leave the shadow of God. Meaning don’t put your hand into sin. May God watch over the ones in the front line. Psalm 27 vs 9. Proverbs 18 vs 10. May God keep all our Doctors and Nurses, health givers in the care.

May God give our medical researchers looking for solutions wisdom to find the answers they need. Fear has killed many people before their time. Proverb 21 vs 30 - 31. Depend on the Lord. Safety is in our God. Hebrews 4 vs 16. May we find mercy and grace in this time of need.
